Hardcover in incised emerald green cloth with gilt figure of an insect on front cover and gilt lettering and two insect figures on the spine. A tight, bright, virtually as new example. xx + 670 pp. with systematic index, alphabetical index with over 700 full- and partial- page illustrations (the frontispiece apparently was omitted from the first printing). An exemplary example.
