London: William Clowes, 1819. First Edition. Hardcover. Fair. Original hardcover in shiny brown-mottled boards. Front board is detached, but present. Back board is firmly attached. Minimal wear to book itself. Light spotting on first few pages and a few final pages. Text pages are clean. A calling card affixed to front board for "Mr. Watson, 5th or Princess Charlotte of Wales's Dragoon Guards." On the first free endpage is an armorial bookplate that reads "Data Pata Sequutus," with the owner's printed name, Robert Shuttleworth Streatfeild, beneath. Small 4to. 56 pp. plus four pages of ads for other books from the publisher. From the estate of Donald Skinner, Canadian military collector extraordinaire.
