Faint rubbing to extremities, smudge to p. 59, owner's last name in upper fore corner of FFEP. Very clean and sharp otherwise. DJ tips worn and chipped with a few short tears and creases. Bright and unclipped, wrapped in mylar. From the rear flap: South African novelist, Alan Paton, "dares to reconsider traditional Christian interpretations, and shares with his readers both the Scripture and the statements of saints, philosophers, and wise men that have opened for him new vistas and understanding. Out of this brave searching emerges an intensely personal testament of hard-core Christian faith and hope and love in the twentieth century. Included are nineteen original prayers by Mr. Paton that will be treasured by all readers.
