Worcester: Stanbrook Abbey Press, 1968.. Quarter silk-backed wood laminate over boards (bound by Weatherby Woolnaugh). Errata slip tipped in back. Fine in unprinted glassine wrapper. First edition in this format, ordinary issue. From an edition of 350 copies printed in Cancelleresca Bastarda on Hodgkinson handmade paper with three hand-lettered coloured initials, two of them executed by Margaret Alexander, this is one of 310 ordinary copies. A prospectus for THE MOTHER'S BIRDS is laid in.
