Original brown paper-covered boards with new cloth spine, and new printed paper spine label in the style of the original. The original boards are slightly worn. Complete with 7 plates (including frontispiece and map), of which 3 are fold-out, and of which 5 are hand-colored. The page edges are untrimmed, except several pages have a thin piece removed from the bottom edge. Minor pencil notations scattered throughout the text. 232mm x151mm (9 1/8" x 5 15/16").
