Western Publishing Company, Racine, Wisconsin, 1969. First Edition. Hardcover. Good Condition/No Dust Jacket. Illustrator: Larry Frederick. 213 pages, last page Whitman publications. Illustrated and papers, showing Ironside -- Raymond Burr -- sitting in a wheelchair against a city skyline, illustration is blue, black and white. The text is illustrated with drawings by Larry Frederick in blue-and-white. Coloured illustrated covers, showing the various characters from the television show with white, black and yellow writing on the front panel and red, green, peach and black on the spine. Small black and white television screen on the spine and around the screen the words " Authorised Adventure ". Bumping and rubbing to the head and to the heel of the spine and to the book corners. There are 2 small splits on either side of the top spine edge. Shelfwear and rubbing to the book edges. The covers are rubbed and slightly grubby. The front hinge has split and underlying webbing can be seen. Grubby marks and browning to the endpapers and browning to the internal pages. Browning to the paper edges along with some staining. Ironside was once a top cop but an attempted assassination put him in a wheelchair. Now he fixes crimes from his wheelchair and using his young helpers. Raymond Burr starred.
