Pagination: [10], 1-50, [2], 51-102, [2], 103-292, [2] p. Text tight, bright, clean & intact. Illustration by copperplate engravings: 8 plates (5 fold-out) ; title page has copper engraved coat of arms of the dedicatee Maffeo Barberini; initials, head and tail pieces; the plates showing the views of the Temple of Fortune (Ichnographia, Spelling, Sciographia) are engraved by William Castelli; the Sciographiais drawn by Pietro da Cortona. Text in Latin. 1/4" separation on hinges both sides of spine head, a few pencil markings on fixed rear endpaper. Italy, Antiques, Exploration/Travel. ; Engravings; 8vo; 292 pages .
