The story of the artist, Paul Henry reveals a man of devotion to his art, love, and patience which comes out in his pictures. He is also a man with delightful personality and this comes out in his writing. 116 pages with 8 colour and 4 charcoal illustrations. Do not let the following put you off - the text and plates are fine. Book in good+ condition and would have been higher but for foxing on first eleven pages up to first Foreword page (vii) thereafter confined to column spaces/edges thus text and plates free, and foxing to last page (116), blank page and back endpapers. Christmas greetings on first endpaper. Top edge has some ?water marks. Cover has fading to spine and some rubbing to back (see photos). No dust jacket.
