Reviews

On Aug 25 2014, a reader said:
I spent a week in Ireland this summer tramping along with the author of this book the length of Ireland from Malin Head in County Donegal to Kinsale on County Cork's Atlantic coast. Ginna, former editor-in-chief at Little, Brown, was, like me, a young-at-heart senior citizen in his 70's. Previous extended stays in Ireland had provided Ginna with material for a documentary and other film productions and had introduced him to Irish people in all walks of life who opened doors for him all along his 350-mile sojourn. From soldiers at a British garrison in Northern Ireland to the Lord Mayor of Cork, all manner of Irish characters and history come alive in this lovely travel narrative.
