New York: The Crime Club - Doubleday & Co, 1941. 1st Edition. Hardcover. Fine/Fine. 8vo., 299pp. Beautiful Stated First Edition, bound in orange cloth with spine titles and illustration in green. Square, tight and clean throughout with just a bit of gentle bumping to the heel. A touch of off-setting to gutters but quite minor. Equally attractive unclipped dust jacket, ($2.00), has a touch of toning to the rear fold but is fresh and bright with no creases, chipping or tears. A simply gorgeous collectable copy and very scarce in such high grade. Certain the best copy this bookseller has seen.
