Signed by the author without inscription on front free endpaper. Octavo; 221pp. Illustrated dust jacket with original $3.00 price; book in patterned red cloth with white title block to spine. Jacket torn and chipped at head of spine, with smaller chips and tears along edges and some general toning to back. Boards are square with bumping to corners and spine ends. Book plate of The Robert Shulmans on front pastedown, mostly obscured by jacket flap. Binding is sound and pages unmarked.

A self-professed warm and joyful, quasi-autobiographical account of a summer spent by the author, his wife, and four young sons on Martha's Vineyard.
