Beige boards stamped in black and gilt; green topstain; map endpapers. Dust jacket chipped along edges and long split to rear fold, barely holding on at bottom half inch with neat but amateur tape reinforcing. Boards with light shelfwear and touch of soiling along edges and joints. Binding is sound and pages unmarked. Overall Very Good.
The author's first and only work, posthumously published. The fictitious utopian county of Islandia was conceived of by the University of California law professor Austin Tappan Wright (1883-1931) as a child before it grew into the behemoth faux-historical profile that made it into print here (about a third of the original manuscript).
