Farrar & Rinehart. Very Good+. 1942. 1st Edition. Hardcover. Very Good Plus. Book is bound in cream buckram with a few minor spots to back cover, no wear. Spine area is very slightly darkened. Endpapers are maps of the island with former owner's name neatly and unobtrusively penned to the map. Front hinge is cracked but cover remains firmly attached and crack does not affect the text block. Binding is tight, pages are clean and unmarked. Book contents are no longer fresh but show no defects. First printing, with the Farrar & Rinehart device present on the copyright page. A handsome copy of the first edition, lacking the dust jacket. . Classic tale of an island utopian nation. . 8vo 8" - 9" tall. 1014 pages. T4 .

All books are well-protected with packing materials and shipped in a sturdy box. Shipments to locations in the U.S. include Delivery Confirmation. Packages to locations outside the U.S. are shipped well-padded in cardboard Global Priority flat-rate envelopes whenever possible.
Any book may be returned within 10 days for any reason, with prior email notice, for a full refund of the book's price. Condition of returns must be the same as when shipped. Cost of return postage will be paid by the customer, and book must be packed appropriately so that damage does not occur in the return shipment.
