Little known about the author of the book Nadezhda Dostoinova. She was daughter of Iakov Dostoinov who finished Moscow Theological Academy and directed People's House of countess Panina in Saint Petersburg. After revolution N. Dostoinova lived in Vologda and worked in Vologda Public Library.
