Four volumes complete - Volume One - [2], xxxiv, 398pp; Volume Two - [2], vi, 389pp, [1]; Volume Three - [2], vi, 357pp, [1] and Volume Four - [2], vi, 372pp. Half-calf and marbled paper over boards, semi-raised wide bands, spines in five panels, morocco title label to second panel, volume label to third, remaining panels with blind decoration, all edges marbled. Spines faded, rubbed, especially to outer joints and spine ends, corners lightly rubbed. Internally some light browning and occasional light foxing, but generally clean. One page slightly proud in volume four. Additional engraved titles to each volume. Previous owners armorial bookplate to front pastedowns. First Edition. Half Calf and Boards. Good. 8vo.
