Boston and New York: Houghton, Mifflin and Company, 1876-1884. Hardcover. Very Good +/No Jacket. 19 volumes only of the 32 volume set, including The Pilot, The Pathfinder, The Pioneers, The Last of the Mohicans, The Two Admirals, The Sea Lions, The Red Rover, The Oak Openings, The Redskins, Wyandotte, The Bravo, The Monikins, Mercedes of Castille, The Wept of Wish-Ton-Wish, The Chainbearer, Homeward Bound, Home as Found, Precaution, and The Spy. The first seven of the titles listed include introductions by Cooper's daughter, Susan Fenimore Cooper. Each volume bound in decorative brown cloth with gilt to spine. Very minimal rubbing to edges of spines. One volume - The Two Admirals - has small punched-in tear at center of spine. Binding tight in all volumes. No writing or markings. Some volumes have foxing to endsheets and textblock edges. Text pages are lightly tanned but for the most part clean and crisp. A really beautiful collection. Full refund if not satisfied.
