Very Good, moderate foxing, cloth a bit rubbed and faded, small holes in front hinge, 1980 bookseller's description laid in. Pencil note front end page to "see page 127, Crown Hill in 1826", with corresponding pencil mark in margin at p. 127. From the collection of Josiah Kirby Lilly. his round leather bookplate front paste down, also stamped at front end page "Josiah K. Lilly, JR., from Wm. M. Rockwood, May 26, 1932". Lilly's book collection formed the foundation for the renowned Lilly Library at Indiana University. Books from his personal collection are uncommon in the current market. Howes S230, Sabin 78305. . Second Edition. Cloth. Very Good. 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall.
