New York: R. Worthington, 1884. Please read complete description - there is a condition issue. Victorian verse illustrated with chromolithographs. Pictorial hardcover with gold cloth spine, just over 9 inches tall. Covers rubbed at the extremities, particularly the corners and spine ends, hinges poorly repaired with old clear (now yellowed) tape with additional tape between the title page and frontis, and across the frontis which is a facimile letter from Whittier, also affecting the color title page. Remaining pages are good to very good, with seven pages of the verse decorated floral chromolithographs printed on thick textured paper, interleaved with text-only pages bordered in red. . Hard Cover. Poor. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
