Grey cloth stamped with green & brown lettering, In amber jacket with green & black lettering. NOT price clipped. Original price of $2.50 on front flap. Top textblock edge tinted black. Darkening to jacket spine & very mild jacket edgewear. Mild darkening to textblock fore-edge. Text clean, sound, with no markings. George Beaton was pseudonym for Edward FitzGerald 'Gerald' Brenan, Malta born, British writer, best known for 'The Spanish Labyrinth' an excellent non-fiction work on the Spanish Civil War. 'Jack Robinson' was Beaton/Brenan's first book.
