London: Oxford University Press, 1968. Published 1968. Scholarly work about old English scripts debating the spirit of the Antichrist, among other religious issues. Olive green cloth lettered in gilt, 176 pages, printed dustjacket. Ex-library, with spine numbers on the dustjacket (not the book), stamp on title page and pocket at rear, pages otherwise unmarked. Very light shelfwear, good hinges, sound text block, clean pages. The mylar protected dustjacket is not priceclipped and is also in very good condition, a bit of fading and light creasing along its top spine tip overlapping the rear panel top.. Hard Cover. Very Good/Very Good. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
