New York : Oxford University Press , 1948 . First Edtion, Later Issue . VG/Good . 8VO . Four lovely colour plates by Tasha Tudor as well as title page and jacket and a number of black and white illustrations. Bound in bright green cloth with black titling. The book is in very nice condition with a light spot at the top of the rear cover where some of the green colour has marked the top edge. The jacket is worn with several largish chips at the top and several tears including a long irregular one on the rear panel. Unpriceclipped with original price of $2. The only differentiation between this and the first issue is the cloth colour and the black lettering. Hare J2, p 227.
