Inscribed by the author (as Nat) to the book owner in a very personal manner on the half title page. Book is tight, square, and unmarked but for a F/O address label on the FFFP. Book Condition: Very Good +; light dust soiling to textblock top; light shelfwear to head, tail, and tips. DJ: Very Good +; light chipping at head; light wear at tips; scratches to spine. Green marbled paper over boards and spine with blue and gilt lettering on the spine. Blue endpapers. 221 pp 8vo. The author, son of Struthers Burt has written the history of Jackson Hole in the form of a personal journal during his years of growing up through adulthood. An exciting story going from the time of when the area was undeveloped into a modern, and sometimes exploited area. Chronicles when some of the wealthy individuals (the Rockefellers particularly) wanted to keep this region for themselves. Biographical and dude ranch history of Bar BC Ranch, Jackson Hole, Wyoming history. A clean very presentable copy in a Brodart mylar jacket.
