The copyright and title pages would indicate the publisher is Little Brown, however, the DJ and the spine indicate it is an A.L. Burt reprint of the Little Brown original. Condition notes - 326 numbered pp; HB. Pages: clean, bright, tight, yellow topstain; gift inscription inked to ffep, mildly cocked. Cover: med blue, black titles spine; minimal shelfwear. DJ: unclipped, white, double printed w/ Burt advertising on the inner surface, full color artwork front, black titles front/spine; spine sunned, moderate edge/shelfwear w/ numerous sm and tiny closed tears, the tail a bit tattered and the head tattered and chipped w/ loss of most of title.

Fine-AN, but not as bright, minor marks or other minor defects. Very Good (VG)-small to modest tears, chips, marks, cocked etc. Good (G)-not so much, with larger tears or chips, possibly soiled, cocked, etc. Fair-ugly, with pages or large areas of DJ missing or other major defects. Poor(P)-truly ugly, disbound or requiring other major rehabilitation. We stabilize most minor defects with archival quality materials, and with few exceptions, these stabilizations are reversible
