Perfect-bound in textured and laminated pictorial boards, 104, [1] pp, 6 plates, many illustrations in text. The perfect (i.e. glued) binding is brittle, otherwise fine. DJ shows a little rubbing at extremities; in Brodart archival cover. This French-language book on the launch of the France was issued about six months before the planned maiden voyage of that ship, billed as "the world's longest passenger liner." A smokestack-shaped bookmark is laid in. Shipping weight 2 lbs. (International 1 lb., 4 oz.). . Near Fine/Near Fine. 18½ X 16 cm.

You can place credit card orders through Biblio, or we will ship upon receipt of payment by check or money order.
