Decorative tooling to the spine and front cover, with the title against a green background that has all but faded. 377 pages followed by seven pages of ads. This yearbook is notable for its Junior Class, School of Medicine listing for Michael DeBakey, who went on to become a world-famous, pioneering heart surgeon. While a medical school student at Tulane, DeBakey invented the roller pump, which eventually became an essential component of the heart-lung machine, which made open-heart surgery possible..
