About This Item
London: Jonathan Cape, 1965. First edition, first printing. Published by Jonathan Cape in London, 1965. This is a near fine copy. The dust wrapper, designed by Jan Pienkowski with sections of Richard Chopping illustrations, has some slight rubbing at the corners and spine tips. It been neatly price clipped and retains the original 16s. net price. The boards are free from notable chips and marks and the gilt titling to the spine is clean. There is a small previous owners inscription to the front fly leaf. The text blocks are markedly clean throughout. Overall, this is a near fine copy of a fine title. A critical analysis of the James Bond novels.
