Damiani, 2011. First Edition. Hardcover. New/New. 4to 11" - 13" tall. James Casebere. Brand-new artist monography, still in shrink-wrap, neither shelf- nor edge-worn, neither sunned nor marked as a remainder, a brilliant, sumptuously illustrated catalogue raisonne. Authored and edited by Okwui Enwezor, the renowned American art historian, it includes many lesser-known early works, never before reproduced sculpture, as well as photography from 1975 to 2011." Edited by and contributed to by Okwui Enwezor, it includes contributions also by Hal Foster, Tony Morrison and and Ford Morrison. James Casebere (born 1953) emerged in the Pictures Generation as an artist-photographer complicating the status of the photographic image alongside Cindy Sherman and Richard Prince.Member, I.O.B.A., C.B.A., and adherent to the highest ethical standards. Additional postage may be required for oversize or especially heavy volumes, and for sets.
