Good+/No Jacket. 14.5 Cm x 22 Cm. f/piece portrait photo+ix+141; internally clean, tight and unmakred but faint tanning to outer sides of endpapers, covers clean and unworn but white spine lettering seriously rubbed with c. 60% loss of text; slipped in is a 24 pp. promotional pamphlet for the 'The Works of Sir James George Frazer O.M.',(11.5 cm x 18 cm) portrait sculpture on unnumbered first page is exposed by a window in front cover, which is grey-green card with gilt decoration and title to front, this is VG but has gilt ownership label verso 1st leaf and and gutter opening between this and p.1 - aside from these two faults it is in near pristine condition. Frazer's dates were 1854-1941, this book thus appeared the year before his death. Note: quoted shipping rates are calculated for 500-700 gram net weight, cost will be modified up or down as appropriate outside this range.
