PARIS EDINBURGH, NEW YORK, LONDON: GOUPIL AND CO, 1904. Half Morocco. Very Good/No Jacket. Folio, Bears the bookplate of James John Hamilton, bearing the coat of arms of the Baronetcy of Hamilton. Limited Edition of 800 copies, of which this is number 297. Extremely attractive volume bound in sumptuous red morocco with gilt stamped spine with 6 compartments and 5 raised bands. Gilt stamped date 1904 to base of spine a little darkened. Rounded corners, rubbed spine edges, some marks to boards, slight wear to top and bottom of front joint. Top edge gilt. Solid. Numerous illustrations throughout including colour images and plates. Foxing to fore edge, and prelims. Otherwise, clean. Very good. This really is an impressive volume. Photos available on request. A beautiful binding. This book is heavy and will require extra postage. £10 in the UK.
