La Conner, Seattle and London: Museum of Northwest Art with University of Washington Press, 2001. First Edition. Hardcover. Fine/Fine. Square 4to. Pp. 120. Color frontis. illustration. With some-60 full color plates reproducing Martin's work. Bound in deep red cloth with gilt lettering on front cover and spine. In a Fine dust jacket and with a matching red-cloth slipcase. SIGNED by Martin on a page featuring his photo and a self-portrait. In addition, he has signed the afterword, with a manuscript "D.D.R," referencing his residence, Donald Duck Ranch. Inscribed by Sheila Farr on the title page. The author's inscription is to a prominent Seattle arts patron, "For -- --, with many thanks, [signed] Sheila 2001". In the acknowledgements, the recipient is credited as "taking a chance on a dark horse and putting up the front money for this project." One of an unspecified, limited number of special copies issued with the matching slipcase. Dust jacket is now preserved in a clear, removable archival protector.
