About This Item
London: British Admiralty, 1885 (1934).. An engraved chart on heavy stock, uncolored, sheet size 27.5 x 40 inches. Published 1885, Large Corrections to 1901, Small corrections to 1934 (printed) and 1936 (mss.). Original horizontal fold, a nice clean copy, some additions in red. A printed paste-over comprises some of the corrections to the inset map of Ishihama and Nobiru Anchorages; another smaller paste-over corrects the area in the lower left near Shiogama. In lower right: "Engraved by Davies & Company" and "Zc 1932". Chart number is 806. Small typed label on verso giving chart & folio info. Some engraved coastlines, and inset maps of Kesennuma Bays, Ofunato Harbour, Tu Shima Peninsula Anchorages, and Ishihama and Nobiru Anchorages.
