#1. Yamato-Tosa School. Group on Temple Steps detail of a Roll-Painting by Fujiwara Nobuzane, Flight of the Court , detail of Roll-Painting by Sumiyosh Keion
#2. Landscape, By Kano Maranobu, Waterfall, by Kano Tanyu. The Kano School was founded by Kano Masanobu (1493-1490) and was carried on by his son, Kano Motonobu (1476-1559). It was a period when connoisseurship in Japanese art reached a very high point and noted art critics, such as So-ami, Shingei and Shin-no, laid down the principles of Japanses art criticism.

#4. Maize, Magnolia and Icho Screen, by Honnami Koyetsu, Two Panels of a Flower Screen, by Tawaraya Sotatsu, Flower Panel By Ogata Korin. The Koyetsu-Korin School, more commonly called the Korin School, developed along extraordinary original decorative lines. Honnami Koyetsu was the founder of the school and Ogata Korin was its best know exponent.
