The text block is stapled and glued to the wraps. 152 + [8] advert pages; 4.5 by 5.25 inches, (13.3 by 10.8 cm).  Occasional in-text drawings. The bindings are tight and square. Text clean, even toning. Moderate shelf handling wear with minor hand-soiling.. An uncommon vintage post-prohibition pocket cocktail manual OCLC/WorldCat cites only 3 copies in institutional collections. Jayne's was a patent medicine manufacturer. There are adverts in this booklet for their various products, ranging from skin cream to laxatives and 'tonic pills' for gentlemen wishing to still be "frisky at sixty". Along with recipes for cocktails and mixed drinks, there are also formulations for making "lost" elements such as Stoughton's Bitter, Angostura Bitters, Orange Bitters, Usquebaugh Cordial, and other oddities.
