Claxton's justly famous work, a monograph of photographs taken of American jazz musicians taken on a single trip across the United States in 1961. Text in German.
Near Fine in white wrappers and Very Good plus dust jacket, attached at the spine as issued. Light toning to both book and jacket. Jacket has mild laminate lift at the spine and front joint, with light rubbing and a single short closed tear to the extremities. Overall a very presentable, tight copy of this scarce and sought-after title.
