New York: Harcourt, Brace and Company, 1939. No edition stated (hardback). 8vo (22cm by 14cm), xv, 360pp. 32pp b&w plates. Original cream-coloured cloth, dustwrapper. The book is in very good condition; the dustwrapper is in fair condition only (chipped and torn with some loss). The dustwrapper has now been put in a mylar cover to protect it. Dated 1939 on the copyright page, but with the print code h.4.47, so this may be a reprint from 1947.
