About This Item
(Rome: Salvatore Sciascia, 1958. 11ff. One of 250 numbered copies. Reprints text of two love letters by Constant, the French author of Adolphe. According to the colophon, this is the second volume published in a series the publisher called "Biblioteca Minima," seven volumes of which can be identified through references and institiutional holdings. The present work is known in a single such holding. Bound in what Spielmann describes as "fawn niger morocco" with a horse figure stamped in gilt on lower corner of front cover. Binding shows some soiling, otherwise nearly fine. (Spielmann 102A; Welsh 2009). (1 1/8 by 1 inch; 28x24mm).
