Vintage essays by eminent scholars such as Darwin T Turner and selections prepared especially for this volume including three by Toomer biographer Nellie Y McKay, capture the divergent perspectives, attitudes and literary interpretations that have developed about Jean Toomer and his work since the 1960s. This work includes Therman O'Daniels's own revealing interview with Mae Wright Peck about her courtship with Jean Toomer. Condition: Mild rubbing to extremities. Jacket corners lightly chipped, spine heal chipped with closed tears and creases else very good to fine in a very good jacket.
