"An excellent biography of one of the famous law enforcement officers of the Southwest, detailing his activities among its outlaws and gunmen, such as John Wesley Hardin, Black Jack Ketchum, John Selman, George Scarborough, Burt Alvord, and Billy Stiles."--Ramon Adams. An important work. Former owner's stamped bookplate on front fly leaf, else a near fine, clean copy in dust jacket with tiny nicks and closed tears to the spine ends, corners and extremities.
