New York: The Vanguard Press. Very Good+ in Good dust jacket. ©1961. Third Printing. Hardcover. 158 p. 21 cm. Sound and square binding in blue, cloth-covered boards. Minor wear to the corner tips. A couple of tiny scratches to the top edge of the text block. Last two leaves have a very tiny closed edge tear. Otherwise, the inside pages are clean and unmarked, with slight toning. Dust jacket has two closed tears to the spine and front flap fold (up to 2.5"). Spine darkened. Sticker shadow to front panel. Both panels and spine show some light soil. The story of how the Swedish opera singer Jenny Lind came to achieve fame and fortune and the role her cat played in it. Illustrated with pen and ink drawings. .
