He is sometimes known as the "Shakespeare of Divines" for his poetic style of writing. CONDITION Green bds with Black title and border (fresh and unworn with sl speckling to cloth at bottom) Nice frontis illus with tissue guard, pp xvi 239. Tight and very bright copy with mild tobacco discolouration to pages near ends, small ownership stamp to both pastedowns.. 2nd Edition. Cloth. Near Fine/No Jacket. 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall.
