Boston, Massachusetts, U.S.A: Little, Brown, and Company, 1888. Hardcover. Fair/No Jacket. 5 1/4" x 7 3/4. FAIR/ NO JACKET. Former Library Book. lxxxix, 463 pp. Text clean and unmarked except for usual library treatments. Illustrated with a map "The Country of the Hurons" of the area near modern Lake Erie, Lake Ontario, and Lake Huron to Quebec City on the St. Lawrence River. Green cloth boards stamped and decorated in black at front and spine, blindstamped at back, and lettered in gilt at spine. Boards lightly scuffed, with a crease at front, edges rubbed, corners rubbed and worn to boards, spine top and tail frayed. Front hinge cracked, but holding, textblock intact and firm, boards remain well attached.
