Title page soiled & torn, rebacked, pages untrimmed, foxing, mainly in margins, holes at inner margins from earlier sewing. ON THE GAME OF QUADRILLE ADAPTED FROM THE GAME OMBRE (HOMBRE) in France in the 18th century. cf: David Parlet/ History of Card Games.
