XVI, 338 pages, last four pages blank, introduction [ and translated by ] by Nathan Bulman, foreword to the English edition, acknowledgements. Dark red coloured boards with gilt titles to the back strip. Bumping to the top and bottom back strip edges and a little rubbing to the book corners. Light browning to the text block edges. Previous owner's name to the top edge of the free front end paper. Illustrated dustwrapper, showing a menorah, with a light brown background and the black titles to the front panel and white titles to the back strip. Rubbing and chipping, with loss to the dustwrapper corners. There is chipping to the lower back strip corners. The top 1" of the top edge is missing. There was heavy chipping and tearing of the top dustwrapper edge, and a smaller tear to the lower front dustwrapper edge both with associated creasing. Heavy rubbing and handling marks to the dustwrapper panels. A book about the joys and responsibilities, and laws of running a traditional Jewish household. Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
