Synopsis

Jim the Boy is a coming-of-age novel by Tony Earley, published by Little, Brown and Co. in 2000. It details a year in the life of a boy who we only know as "Jim," as he grows up in a small town in North Carolina. His father, having died ten years ago, left him in the care of his three uncles, on whose farm Jim has become a farmhand.
