Jacket has tear in rear panel, other small chips and tears as well as soiling. Book has spine lean, some soiling to cloth. Inscribed on front pastedown by either the author or her sister: "The best of new Years to our highly esteemed Neighbours - the Whiddens. Marshall & Grace Saunders. 1926." Former owner's address label on front free endpaper. Occasional rough page edges.
