Whitman, Racine, WI., 1954. Hardcover in Printed Boards w/o Dust Jacket as issued.
Book spine is cocked. Top corners have some light wear and bumping. Bottom corners are still sharp with minimal wear. Front and rear cover have some light rubbing. Price sticker remnant on front cover. Front interior hinge's paper has torn, but cover is still firmly attached to spine of book. Rear hinge is fine. Pages are brown as is common with Whitman editions.

Book is in very good shape with some rubbing/discoloration to boards. Corners only slightly worn and bumped. Spine extremities are bumped, but with minimal wear. Pages are browning as is typical with Whitman books. Both spine hinges are intact - paper is intact and cover is firmly attached to spine. Spine itself is not rolled and is firm. A really nice reading copy.
