Hodder & Stoughton for Boots Pure Drug, 1111. Hardcover. Acceptable. No Edition Remarks. 271 pages. No dust jacket. Blue cloth with decorations. Illustrated by Gwynedd M. Hudson. Colour illustrations throughout. Slight cracking to hinges and gutters, with exposed netting, front board slightly loose. Pages have light tanning and foxing throughout. More pronounced to endpapers and pastedowns. Illustrations are bright and clear, with some light tanning and foxing to edges. Pencil inscription to front free endpaper. Boards have moderate shelf-wear with bumping to corners and rubbing to surfaces. Visible sunning to spine and boards with crushing to spine ends. Small splits to spine ends and corners causing cloth to be slightly frayed. Brown spotting to edges of boards. Book has a slight forward lean.
