Uniformly bound with lithographic dust jackets over off-white cloth with their spines lettered in red or brown. This set is illustrated with a complete suite of 36 original lithographs. See detailed note below. Dust jackets of vols. II-IV with publisher's 2-1/2" belly bands and clear acetate protective outer covers.

Vol. III: 1964-1969. Paris: Maeght Editeur. 1977. 1/5000 (this is #786)
Vol. IV: 1969-1972. Paris: Maeght Editeur. 1981. 1/4000 (this is #1863)
Note: These four volumes of Miro's catalog raisonne cover Joan Miro's lithographic work from 1930-1972. Vol.1: contains his work from 1930-1952, Vol.2: 1953-1963, Vol.3: 1964-1969, Vol.4: 1969-1972. The set features finely produced color reproductions of the artist's work. Additionally the volumes include a total of 32 original color lithographs produced for these publications by Miro, interleaved throughout the volumes, plus the 4 original lithographs on the front covers of the dust jackets. Each volume contains a table of contents.
Further note: Two additional volumes (V and VI) were produced later, but these contain only photographic reproductions of Miro's lithographic work.
