Philadelphia, PA: Perkinpine & Higgins, 1871. Hardcover. Good Only. 16mo. Brick-red stamped clltoh, ruled in blind, with publisher's initials to center of front board. One of the Sabbath-School Books, quite popular in the latter 19th century. Wear and rubbing to extremities. Inscription to front free endpaper: "Master Charlie Jones. From his teacher Walter Johnson. Feb. 1871" A second name below, in red manuscript. B. Ball?? Four illustrations, including frontis. Bright pages of good paper, some spotting throughout32 pp. of ads at rear, entitled: "An Illustrated and Descriptive Catalogue of Sabbath School Books" at rear, published by same publisher (Perkenpine & Higgins).
