"This is the story of Joe Palmer, one of New Brunswick's most remarkable entrepreneurs. He began as a Carleton County farm boy in the nineteen thirties and went on to play a pivotal role in creating one of Canada's largest trucking companies. Along the way he also immersed himself in politics and community affairs." Foreword by Frank McKenna, erstwhile premier of New Brunswick. Inscription reads, "To: Patti/Best Wishes/Steve Palmer." Tipped onto title page is a slip of paper that reads, "Joe Palmer/April 15, 1929 - December 7. 1995/This book is one of only a few hard covers/that were made, as a final request by Joe, to/be sent to you.
